One of the benefits of Al Pacino's facial hair is that it will tell you how good an Al Pacino film is. Here is your guide.
Type: The Chinwarmer
Description: Neat, Full Moustache, Jaw and chin. This means you are watching a good Al Pacino film
Film: Serpico, Carlito's Way
Type: The Circle
Description: A moustache and goatee that meets at the sides. You are watching a mediocre Pacino, Usually good for one speech.
Film: The Recuit, Two for the Money
(Note: the rarely seen gray haired variety of the circle appears towards the end of Gigli, which isn't as bad as you heard but still isn't very good.)
Type: The Nest
Description: A crazy unkempt beard that resembles a grey bush. This means you are watching a pretty dull adaptation of a Shakepearian play that is either anti-semitic or about anti-semitism.
Film: The Merchant of Venice
Coming soon to an Al Pacino's face near you, Salvador Dali's moustache in Dali & I: The Surreal Story.
